Co-Founder & CTO Do you want to be the CTO to head our engineering team and join us on a mission to help more startups succeed? We’re raising 1M € pre-seed funding, and are looking for a third co-founder to join the ride. What’s the company doing? We are building a deep collaboration platform to help startups quickly and efficiently find their path to scale. Terms like customer development, agile engineering & lean startup are well known in the startup industry, but implementing these concepts for startup founders requires a lot of time and knowledge. We want to make the experience of lean experimentation seamless where startup founder always have a plan, know how to execute on it, act and learn. We are eliminating the “sun-light” between customer development process and agile engineering process to enable startups find their path to scale faster. But this is just the beginning. The start is to build a business operating platform for startups to combat outrageous 90% startup failure rate. Step two is to make the world more fair for startup founders by opening up a startup marketplace with universal product-market fit and go-to-market fit metrics so that every startup, especially early-stage, is evaluated objectively on the strength of their idea and business model. And not only on the looks of a founding team. Improving the ratio of women and minorities receiving investment capital is the mission. Step three is to open up the platform for large enterprises to liberate corporate innovators from all the pain corporate entrepreneurship entails today and feel like they are working at a startup but without loosing the security of stabile income. We have validated our clickable Figma prototype with over 50 startup founders we had extensive conversations with. People are excited to join our MVP testing and pay the price we’ve outlined. Good news there are 581M of them in the world, with 5M entering into startup world each year so we won’t have troubles finding more. The hick-up is that we will need you to help us build the Minimum Feature Set Which Drives Customer Purchase and beyond at the speed of the market need for it. As we receive pre-seed funding we are open to an idea of bringing more resources to help you, either people you know & want to work with or searching for new talent or hiring outsourced development for non-core parts of the platform. Who are your co-founders? Co-founder - Miro, Helsinki, Finland. Previously worked at a US-based startup acquired by SAP for 8B dollars and 2 Finnish-based startups. Co-founder - Anton, Helsinki, Finland. Previously worked at a US-based startup acquired by Oracle for 9B dollars and 2 Finnish-based startups. We met during our MBA and join the last startup we worked together, scaling their operations internationally from 0 to 1M in ARR and 13 people to 30+ within 9 months. This was the moment we realised we figured out something unique which startup ecosystem can benefit from and started a company we are looking you to join. Who are you? You live in the EU, and you are very comfortable using English as your working language. You have entrepreneurial ambitions; you have worked at enough startups to know what that entails. You are not intimidated by building a product from scratch, and your pragmatic and analytical mindset will lay out a well-reasoned roadmap and estimate. You have a high risk tolerance. We expect you to come on board, completely, full-time, as soon as possible. You want to be directly involved in everything from designing architecture, choosing the tech and tools to improve the development process and operations. You are comfortable getting your hands dirty, iterating fast, and shipping products. We don’t care if you learned to program at university or on your own, but to succeed in this role, we believe you must have tried and truly experienced building and hosting apps, backend APIs, and integrations with other systems. You will want to work closely with your product team to deliver high-quality backend, CI, and DevOps to ensure efficient and cohesive development and collaboration. However, your ultimate goal should not lie only in code but rather in engineering management, maintaining a product, and building a world-class engineering culture in a globally-minded remote setting.
