Hi All, Glad to say that I posted on this sub recently and was able to meet several potential co-founders, an advisor and a couple investors (one of which committed to this round!) The post was removed, but hopefully the amendments I made will keep this up - to be as clear as possible I'm looking to partner with a technical co-founder! I had a great conversation with a one potential co-founder in particular and based off of his honest input (which I value greatly) I've decided to look for someone with a particular stack (end of who you are) to avoid having to redo the work done to date. Details below: I've raised $150k pre-seed funding (50%) of the round and am looking for a co-founder to really have a part in creating something that identifies the "why" in engagement and conversion rather than just providing performance based data. What’s the company doing? Digital media marketing is ramping up. It's reach is vast and performance-based metrics are in-depth, but not knowing the reasons behind your performance among consumers makes it difficult to adjust content, definitively identify the best channels, and really understand why customers engagement with your content and ultimately convert. We bridge the gap between businesses and customers and dive deep into the why through primary audience testing. An MVP has been developed, revenue has been generated, a 700+ panel waitlist has been accumulated, big companies are interested and we have some unicorn founders turned angels invested in our solution. Who is the founder? Business - Tony, California. Ex-Intel & P&G. I leveraged audience testing for a lot of media content that was consumer facing. We leveraged audience testing because it resulted in a net positive ROI. I want to bring those same testing mechanics to digital media that in nature commands a faster testing turnaround and a budget optimized for a continuous stream of content every year. About You. Coming in with an entrepreneurial mindset and high risk tolerance is essential. Also I'd like to partner with someone who has experience with CI/CD pipelines, Dev Ops, API integration. I know where my competencies lie, therefore, I in no way want to dictate how to manage your domain. Your tech stack should resemble that of the MVP: Ruby, Postgres, Heroku, and React. What the partnership looks like? Equity or equity/salary. For context, the company's valuation is in the 7 digits. To be completely honest, I didn't want to come here and pitch my idea so I took the time to learn coding basic (thanks stackoverflow and friends), create an MVP, get some customers in, and raise some funds to come to you with more than just a billion dollar idea that I need developed. This said, I know where my limitations and I know bringing on a partner would help in faster scaling. What does the process look like? Interested? First step, drop me a quick message, and I’ll invite everyone who fits for a video chat. The aim is simply to get to know you a bit better and give you an overview of who I am and what is being built. If things seem good, I’ll get a bit more hands on as the next step would be a second meeting which may be attended by one of my angels or colleagues that are significantly more technical than I am. Finally, the top candidate will be invited for a 2-week trial period (paid) where we'll see how we work together as partners and gauge if we mesh. submitted by /u/hollywoodsand [link] [comments] https://www.reddit.com/r/cofounder/comments/t7j3ho/usbiz7_b2b_saas_martech_raised_a_preseed_round_of/
