[USA][TECH][10] Seeking fellow tech co-founder for driver rating app.

Who I am 👨‍🔧 I'm a software engineer who has worked for the past decade in both the defense industry and e-commerce sector. My main responsibilities have been as an SDET with a focus on requirements/traceability. I've helped build out both new greenfield projects as well as help maintain existing ones, mainly through the development of test suites deployed in a CI/CD environment. Through this experience I've come to learn learn a variety of languages, frameworks, and tooling that I've made use of for the application I am currently building out. What I'm building 🛠 I've always been a huge fan of cars/driving and I wanted to create something that other users could use to help provide feedback on an action that millions of people all over the world do every day. The result is an application I've deemed "braker" (the logo/branding has been created) that I've worked/iterated on for the last 3+ years. This application allows users (both non-drivers and drivers alike) to rate drivers based on their observed driving/parking habits. There is a lot more that goes into this but I will leave the technical details for those that are interested. Intended Audience 🧑🏻‍🤝‍🧑🏻 When creating the back end, the main goals was to target this towards anyone that wants to give feedback on someone's driving/parking skills, whether you're a fellow driver or not. There are a few use cases for this but three main ones are: Allowing someone in the family to keep track of kids/elderly family members and their driving Replacing those "How's my driving" stickers with a phone number you call to report someone Letting users in a given area see where the most common/dangerous areas are to travel based on reported drivers There are many other potential future uses for this application but for now the focus is on the user side to help build a user base. Where I'm at 📍 I currently have a version of the back end completed and tested to the point where I am comfortable in pairing it up with a front end framework. The back end is an event-driven system utilizing many services within the Firebase ecosystem. This implementation is currently sitting in a QA environment with all integration points established with 3rd party services. I'm sure there are a few minor bugs here and there but in terms of an MVP, this part of the work is completed as it has the base set of functionality I have deemed necessary for a positive user experience. What I'm looking for 🔭 I am looking for a fellow tech founder who has skills in UI/UX and iOS/mobile app development (Swift specifically) to help created the front end portion of the project. I originally intended on making this a SPA for the web but I believe the intended audience is better served through a mobile app. I am also looking to create a basic website (SSR) for marketing purposes and possible future integration with the app itself to pull in metrics to display. Ideally you would have the skills required to make what I need a reality and help get an MVP out the door that can be used for then creating a pitch deck to help approach potential investors. I am also not opposed to hiring talent for specific tasks to get this across the MVP finish line but would rather find someone interested in doing this for the potential the application could have (equity stake). If you have skills in Firebase that's also a huge plus, but not required as their documentation is excellent. Future Goals 🥅 Complete the MVP Release the app on the Apple Store Build a userbase and start gathering metrics Establish a MRR to (at least) support the infrastructure costs Approach investors for capital to help further build out/iterate on the application Other Information ✨ I'm not against finding someone with a more business oriented background to come on as a founder as well as I'm an engineer by profession and lack any of those necessary skills. However the focus is primarily on getting an MVP created at this point to prove it works. There is a monetization aspect to this application already built into the back end and set up (but untested) for the Apple Store. It is a freemium model by default but the way the application is structured will encourage many people who have more than one car or plan to frequently rate other drivers to subscribe. I have purposely left out a lot of details of the application itself as I have never seen anything like this done before and I believe I have a novel approach to this. The feedback I have received from both work colleagues and friends alike has been very positive which is why I decided to continue on these last few years.
