Hey all,
I'm looking for a tech cofounder to work on an early startup together to help companies improve supply chain resilience.
BACKGROUND
I initially started with the idea to help companies detect procurement fraud. However as I was building the startup realised that today's supply chains face much bigger problems. I built a pretty sophisticated product for the fraud detection use case but since pivoting to supply chain resilience the product needs to change (stack: aspnet, react, ms sql, azure)
PROBLEM
Procurement and supply chain teams struggle to understand how everything that is going on in the world i.e. inflation, geopolitics, natural disasters etc. will affect their operations.
SOLUTION
A SaaS platform that enables companies to do 2 things.
1.) Map sub-tier supply chains to gain more visibility into critical supplier dependencies. For exampleto answer questions like "do I have a critical dependency that I don't know about because my suppliers source their raw materials from the same source/sub-tier supplier"
2.) Create assessments and "what-if" scenarios to plan how future events will affect my business. For example to answer questions like "how will a 20% rise in fuel prices affect the cost of a contract".
TRACTION
Still early days - its been 3 months since I pivoted - but I have agreed two £50k contracts with 2 large UK construction companies. I've also agreed pilots with 3 other large construction and telco companies.
Looking for someone technical that is really capable (fe+be) and wants to give this idea a shot.
FYI: I'm currently based in the UK but looking to relocate to NY.
