[USA][BIZ][15] Seeking Business Development Co-Founder for Supply Chain Software.

Overview:

Seeking a business development co-founder and technical co-founder to compliment my subject matter expertise to build software to disrupt the supply chain industry.

The mission is to automate helping any size company build the lowest cost supply chain in the world for their product while maintaining quality and other important factors.

I have a functioning phase 1 mvp and a clear vision for the future.

The Problem:

There are 11 million factories in the world.

Regardless if you are an entrepreneur just starting out or a large enterprise, there might be thousands of factories that can make your specific product.

A lot of people don’t realize this, but there is actually a very wide range of factory prices even within the same region.

If you get the typical 9 or 10 quotes, you are kidding yourself if you think you are doing anything but a statistically abysmal job.

The problem is there simply isn’t enough time in the day to get the number of quotes necessary to not leave a lot of money on the table.

Until now.

The solution:

This first of its kind software uses machine learning to identify the most optimal possible supply chain in the world for your product.

And it’s surprisingly simple.

First, users enter their product specifications including identifying the specific manufacturing process of each individual component in their product.

The software then leverages Sourcing Agents and directories such as Alibaba to automate getting and managing quotes from a large number of potential suppliers that specialize in that manufacturing process.

This process is repeated many times in the software for many different user’s components of the same manufacturing process.

Each round it adds new potential suppliers and removes those with high prices.

It ultimately identifies which suppliers typically have the best quotes for each individual manufacturing process by region.

The software then vets each supplier by monitoring their interaction in the system along with publicly available data.

Users can select what they value most in a supplier and the system can identify the lowest cost supplier in the world that still meets that value.

The software makes this incredibly valuable supply chain data available to those who use the software.

But it can also be offered as an API to any other ERP, MRP or procurement related software as a tool that can automatically suggest the most idea entire supply chain for their product without lifting a finger.

About me:

I have been a US based independent Sourcing Agent for over 15 years with a strong background in engineering, product development and quality control.

My niche is aggressive cost savings by manually applying First Principles Thinking to the supply chain.

Performing this process efficiently is too complex for spreadsheets alone and there are no other existing software options available specifically for Sourcing Agents.

Let alone software designed to apply First Principles Thinking to the supply chain in an efficient way that even a micro company can work with.

That’s why I already built the phase 1 rough draft of this software as a proof of concept and have been using it internally for over a year to manage my sourcing business.

The results so far have been beyond my wildest expectations.

I want to move on from actual sourcing and focus on using my unique First Principles expertise to disrupt the supply chain industry.

What I am looking for:

I consider the software in its current form a rough draft or an MVP as a proof of concept because I originally built it just for my business.

No one else uses it but me.

What I am looking for is someone that is US based and knows Software from a business perspective and has experience in driving customer discovery conversations and otherwise validating software ideas before bringing then to market.

I am also looking for a software developer to bring the development in house, as I used freelancers overseas to develop what I have. Developing in how will make it a lot easier to enact the portions of the above that is not yet in the current version.
