is it worth it to baghold blue chip stocks?

Holding a lot of shares of Disney, Intel, American express, Moderna, and Tesla. got some at ok prices, but some at the peak. If i just play the long game they’re bound to come back right? Some of these companies seem too big to fail like Disney. I’m 20 years old so i won’t need these for retirement or anything like that anytime soon. I sold apple and amd for a decent profit even tho i was bagholding those as well so hopefully the rest follow that trend?

I don't think he's cutting rates because inflation ain't at 2% yet. Said they were prepared to raise rates. Talked about uncertainie

How foolish would it be to have your entire portfolio just be the leading tech stocks?

My understanding is that most of the gains of the S&P500 disproportionally come from the big boys like Apple, amazon, Microsoft, Google, etc.

How viable would it be as a strategy to just make your portfolio only these big players? Pros and cons to this?

Looking back at the last year, pretty much everything is up right now. Does this imply that stocks doing poorly now are unlikely to improve?

Overall, my portfolio has been looking great over the past year- but I still have a few stinkers. Some make sense to me, but others leave me thinking there's something else coming or something that I'm not understanding. A few examples-

UBER vs LYFT. I own both but kind of wishing I didn't. They've both been discussed a lot here and on other subs and I think a lot of the sentiment surrounding Lyft has to do with their own personal experien

Ford Stock Price Forecast: Stock Heading Towards Oversold Zone?

Ford’s stock price bottomed out in May 2023 followed by a breakout that pumped the price to gain nearly 25% in just one month turning the long-term trend to uptrend.

However, the short-term gain in the Ford stock price triggered a sell-off after the double-top formation at the top of the trend and the gap-down opening added fuel to decline in the price. Thereafter, the price declined nearly 20% wiping out all the gains after the previous breakout.
