You might already know Oskar Stark as a Symfony Documentation Core Team member. Even if his first pull request on symfony/symfony was in 2015, he recently started to make many changes to the Notifier component, making great contributions to stabilize the component for Symfony 5.3. First up let us talk about how remote conferences are actually an opportunity for diversity and inclusion. Not requiring traveling reduces costs and other hurdles like visa and requirement for family arrangements. 2020 was a year like no other. The COVID-19 pandemic disrupted the personal and professional lives of millions of people. Symfony was no exception and we struggled at times during this year. Nonetheless, thanks to your help and support, we won through and 2020 was a good year for Symfony, all things considered.
Releases¶ We released two new major versions: Symfony 4.1 in May and Symfony 5.2 in November. We also published 59 maintenance versions in six different branches (3.4, 4.3, 4.4, 5.0, 5.1
