Hello, fellow workstation addicts. I see y’all over on the /r/battlestations subreddit, lovingly tweaking your monitor angles and searching for the perfect succulent to add a splash of green. Come check out the newest addition to Corsair’s growing desk offerings: a functional add-on peg board to hold controllers, lights, Gundam models, and more.
The Clamp-On Multi Frame Pegboard is ostensibly a companion to Corsair’s very nice and very pricey Platform desks, but thanks to those clamps it can work with pretty much any flat horizontal table up to two inches thick. Clearly inspired by similar pegboard setups for hardware work tables, it comes in 4-foot ($300) and 6-foot varieties ($400) in either black or white.

The height of the pegboard can be adjusted by sliding it up and down the crossbeam, accounting for monitors of various sizes. You get a variety of pegs and rails for vertically mounting different stuff, from hooks to shelves to what-have-you. The steel sides can be augmented with two more standard shelves on the side and one on top (an excellent spot for more lights), and there’s a bit of integrated cable management to boot.
Wall-mounted and similar clamp-on pegboards are common and can be found for much cheaper, but even my inner skinflint has to admire the elegance and functionality of this system. In addition to the Pegboard offerings, Corsair announced a new Platform:4 modular desk, a 4-foot variant of its motorized standing desk design that starts at $1,000. Add another $400 for the 6-foot version.
