Hi Redditors, I've just created my first startup business selling speciality coffee from around the UK One of the main USPs of the site is that I've created a product match quiz which helps match you with your perfect coffee based on your preferences. I'm working with a number of roasters from all around the UK to help connect coffee lovers to amazing speciality coffee. https://beanprofile.co.uk Any feedback would be great and welcomed. submitted by /u/OPBandersnatch

Is it normal for an alibaba vendor to not give me a final price?

I am speaking with a vendor (from Thailand) to order bags. It's not a custom order. I keep asking for the final cost (including the units, tax, shipping, fees, duty and anything else) to get them to my door in NY. This is the response I get even if I ask to give me the price if I ordered today. Estimated shipment cost. I cannot tell you an exact cost before I put them in the box and weight them all. Quantity : 250 B13, 250 B16Shipping cost around 406.34 USDAgent: DHLAir Courier Expressby

Sales datasets

Are there any comprehensive e-commerce sales datasets out there available to purchase and use? I know there is Jungle Scout for Amazon data, I am looking for a dataset which includes regional data and potentially even unique user data without personal info. This may seem counterproductive for companies like Amazon and Shopify to sell, which may be why I have not found anything too comprehensive, but I am wondering if any of you know better. submitted by /u/csharpdressedman [link]

Transitioning from eBay to own website

I currently sell ECG machines on eBay and my own website right now, and I’ve been looking to transition to website only. eBay is currently doing most of my revenue and the website is currently doing very little. I want to gradually shift traffic from eBay to my website because it’d be overall more profitable and i’d have more control over the business. Any ideas? The link is: https://tech-equip.com I can also provide the eBay link if needed. I have it listed slightly cheaper on my website. I’ve

Do you do Influencer marketing? Would you be open to sharing your experience?

Hi people! I am helping few of my friends with shopify stores to do influencer marketing by building shopify app for them. I was wondering if anyone would be willing to share their experience? What kind of problems do you encounter? How worthwhile it has been? What would help you the most? Would also love to get on a call to ask few more questions, if you are up for it. It would help me a great deal and will directly impact on what gets build. I am also happy to share the results later! :) &#32

Would like some feedback on my website and how I can improve it and build my brand.

I got some feedback a few weeks back about my website but have felt a bit overwhelmed on how to improve my site. I recently updated some of my photos which has definitely helped. I haven’t tried any ads yet because I want to improve the site to try and make sales. Some feedback on my website and things I can do to grow my brand would be very appreciated. Going to have to close my store :(

I worked tirelessly day and night to create a beautiful furniture store. I advertised it with plenty of paid and organic marketing strategies and now I have to close it.. without making a single sale. It’s truly devastating because interior design is something I’m passionate about and wanted to deliver sustainably made quality products at an affordable price point.. but no one has bought anything. Even with sales, promo codes, targeted traffic - nothing. I don’t have enough to renew the website.
