Hormel Foods Corp.'s stock was down 8.7% to $33.11 a share on Thursday, making it the worst performer in the S&P 500 , after union workers ratified a new contract with the largest wage increases in company history.

Question regarding IWM-

I’ve recently been looking at more small caps given the extremely divergent nature of small cap PEs and mega cap PEs. As indexes, QQQ is trading around a 30 multiple while IWM is trading at a multiple of 10.

THAT SAID- the problem I am seeing with investing in IWM is that companies that are truly successful and on path to become mega caps do not stay in the IWM. They always graduate to be featured in the SPY and they take that growth with them.

While it would be better for markets for the Fed to lower rates, I'll take the Fed holding. This would create less volatility. But, it still would be tough for the Fed to not raise at least one more time since they have not reached their mandate of 2% inflation.
